Her musical roots trace back to her early childhood in Georgia, where she learned to play piano alongside her grandmother—an experience that instilled in her a lifelong love of music. Albert went on to earn a Bachelor of Music from Georgia State University and has performed on stages across the U.S. and abroad, including The Smith Center in Las Vegas, the Berks Jazz Festival, Catalina JazzTrax Festival, City Winery, and venues throughout France, England, Ireland, and Spain.
Albert’s artistry has also earned her numerous honors and industry recognition, including a Hollywood Music in Media Award nomination for “Femme Flight,” a Global Peace Song Award, designation as Georgia Composer of the Year by the National League of American Pen Women, and multiple Smooth Jazz Network Artist of the Year nominations alongside genre luminaries such as Dave Koz and Brian Culbertson.
